WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that conserving our past is an excellent investment into our community's future.

Our mission

The museum society's mission is to restore the community's historic school building so that it can be used as a museum, which focuses on the culture and history of the communities of Des Allemands, Bayou Gauche, and Paradis.

How

The society plans on acquiring funds through corporate/government grants, donations from individuals, and general membership dues.  The community will be canvessed for volunteers willing to help with the restoration.  Once enough resoures are acquired, the project will begin.

The Des Allemands, Bayou Gauche, Paradis Museum Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
